Stations

A station is the heart of your KlevaKiosk setup. Everything your customers see lives inside a station. Here's how to create, manage, and link them.

What is a station?

A station is a single kiosk screen — the thing your customers actually see and interact with. It lives at its own URL and has its own QR code. You might have one station at reception, one at each table, or one in a waiting room. Each station can show completely different content, or you can share content across multiple stations.

Creating a station

Go to Stations in the left menu and click New Station. Fill in:

Name — something descriptive like "Front Counter" or "Table 5".
Colour theme — the primary colour used across your kiosk tiles.
Logo — optional. Upload your business logo to show at the top of the kiosk.

Click Save. The station is now live and has its own URL.

The station URL and QR code

Every station gets a permanent URL (for example: app.klevakiosk.com/k/abc123). You can open this URL directly on any device, or use the QR code.

To download the QR code, open the station and click the QR Code tab. Download it as a PNG image and print it. When a customer scans it with their phone camera, your kiosk opens in the browser — no app needed.

Editing a station

Open the station from the Stations list and click Edit. You can update the name, colour, or logo at any time. Changes appear immediately — you don't need to reprint the QR code.

Station groups

If you have several stations that should show the same content — for example, all the tables in one section of a restaurant — you can put them in a group. Changes made to the group apply to every station in it at once. This saves you from updating each station individually.

To create a group, go to Station Groups (in the Stations section) and click New Group. Then open each station you want to add and assign it to the group.

Linking content to a station

Content is added to a station through Tiles. Tiles are the buttons your customers see when they open the kiosk. Each tile links to a specific piece of content — a gallery, a menu, a form, or a custom link. See the Tiles guide for how to add and configure them.

Deleting a station

Open the station and scroll to the bottom of the Settings tab. Click Delete Station. This removes the station and its QR code permanently. Any content (galleries, menus, etc.) that was linked to it is not deleted — you can reassign it to another station.

Tips

  • Give stations clear, location-based names so you can tell them apart in the dashboard.
  • The QR code URL never changes, even if you rename the station or change its content.
  • You can test your station by opening its URL on your phone without scanning a QR code.
  • If you run multiple business locations, create a group per location to manage content together.
