Getting Started
Set up your first kiosk
Follow these steps to go from a new account to a live kiosk customers can scan and use. Most people are up and running in under an hour.
Create your account
Head to accounts.klevakiosk.com/register and sign up with your email address. You'll be on the free plan right away — no credit card needed. The free plan gives you 2 stations and 50 media items to get started.
Your dashboard — what you see first
After signing in you land on your dashboard. From here you can see all your stations, recent activity, and quick links to every part of the app. The left-hand menu takes you to Stations, Galleries, Menus, Media Library, Forms, and Settings. You'll spend most of your time in these sections.
Create your first station
Go to Stations in the menu and click New Station. Give it a name that makes sense for its location — for example "Reception" or "Table 3". Choose a colour and upload your logo if you have one. Click Save. Your station is now live.
Add a QR code to your station
Open your new station and go to the QR Code tab. You'll see a QR code ready to download. Print it out and place it wherever your customers will be — on the counter, at each table, or on a wall stand. When customers point their phone camera at it, your kiosk opens instantly in their browser. No app download needed.
Upload images to the Media Library
Go to Media Library in the menu. Click Upload and choose the images you want to use — photos of your work, product shots, anything you want customers to see. You can create folders to keep things organised (for example, "Haircuts", "Colours", "Products"). Your first 50 images are free.
Create your first gallery
Go to Galleries and click New Gallery. Give it a name, choose a layout (grid, carousel, or masonry), and then add images from your Media Library. You can group images into categories within the gallery — for example by style or colour. Click Save when you're done.
Assign content to your station
Go back to your station and open the Tiles tab. Tiles are the buttons customers see when they open your kiosk. Click Add Tile and choose the type — for example a Gallery tile. Select the gallery you just created and save. Your station now has live content customers can browse.
Test it on your tablet
Open your station's QR code and scan it with your phone — or copy the direct link and open it in a browser. You'll see exactly what your customers see. Check that your gallery loads, images look good, and the layout works on a small screen. You can make changes at any time and they appear immediately — no need to reprint QR codes.
Tips for getting started
- You can edit stations, galleries, and content at any time — changes go live instantly.
- Use folders in the Media Library to keep your images organised from the start. It saves time later.
- Give your stations clear names based on where they are, so you can tell them apart easily.
- Your QR code never changes, even if you update the content. Print once, update whenever you like.
- If anything looks wrong on the kiosk, try refreshing the page on the tablet.
