Media Library
All your images in one place. Upload once, use everywhere. Here's how to keep your library organised and make the most of it.
What is the Media Library?
The Media Library is where all your images live. Before you can use an image in a gallery, menu item, or tile, it needs to be in the Media Library first. Think of it as your photo storage — you upload once, and then use the images in as many places as you like.
Uploading images
Go to Media Library in the left menu. Click Upload and choose images from your device. You can select multiple files at once — hold Shift or Ctrl while clicking to select several. JPG and PNG files are supported. Images are resized automatically, so don't worry about uploading large originals.
Your free plan includes 50 images. If you need more, you can add Media Packs from the Billing page — each pack adds 100 images.
Using folders
You can organise images into folders to keep things tidy. For example, you might have folders named "Haircuts", "Colours", "Products", and "Before & After".
To create a folder, click New Folder and give it a name. To move images into a folder, select them (click the checkbox on each image) and use the Move to Folder option.
Selecting and managing images
Click any image to open it and see its details — name, upload date, file size, and where it's used. You can rename it or delete it from here.
To select multiple images at once, click the checkbox that appears when you hover over an image. You can then move, delete, or add them to a gallery in bulk.
Searching your library
Use the search bar at the top of the Media Library to find images by filename. If you've uploaded images with descriptive names (like "balayage-long-2024.jpg"), searching is much faster than scrolling. You can also filter by folder to narrow things down.
Deleting images
Select one or more images and click Delete. Before deleting, check that the image isn't still being used in a gallery or menu — removing it there first avoids broken images showing on your kiosk. The Media Library will warn you if an image is in use.
Tips
- Name your image files before uploading — a file named "balayage-warm-tones.jpg" is much easier to find later than "IMG_4821.jpg".
- Create your folder structure before uploading, so you can drop images straight into the right place.
- You can use the same image in multiple galleries and menus — uploading it once is enough.
- Keep originals on your own device as a backup. KlevaKiosk isn't a primary storage solution.
- If you're running low on space, check which images are not used in any gallery — those are safe to delete.
